Once Human throws you into a twisted post-apocalyptic world shaped by a mysterious substance called Stardust. Fight to survive in hostile wilderness, scavenge resources, and face off against mutated creatures—some of which were once human. Team up with others in online co-op or go it alone as you craft weapons, build and relocate your territory, and uncover the dark secrets behind the collapse of civilization. With evolving content, faction choices, and a constantly shifting world, Once Human is about more than just survival—it's about reshaping what's left.
If you’re expecting Rust, you’ll be disappointed. If you want a survival world with actual structure, crafting, and weird monsters—it’s a blast.
Love the building and exploration, but the UI is overloaded. So many blinking menus. Still, the freedom to build anywhere is addictive.
Incredibly deep systems—crafting, farming, tech tree, exploration—but seasonal wipes ruin the long-term motivation for me.
They fixed a launch-day issue in under an hour. Devs actually care, and that alone makes me want to stick around.
Not the deepest MMO, but I enjoy just roaming around, looting abandoned buildings, and decorating my base. Chill vibes.
Hundreds of hours in and still haven't paid a cent. No pay-to-win, just good gameplay and great cosmetic design.
I adore this game, but the seasonal resets are brutal if you can’t grind constantly. Permanent progression would change everything.
The devs finally added permanent servers—huge win. The game’s evolving fast, and it’s rewarding to stick with it.
Good PvE fun, deep survival mechanics, but the kernel-level anti-cheat makes me a little nervous.
The seasonal model kills long-term immersion. Beautiful world, but resets make it feel more like a loop than a journey.
Dungeon grinds are actually fun with friends. Tons of bugs early on, but the dev team is seriously responsive.
There’s fishing. You can make an aquarium. 10/10.
The loot crate pricing is painful. Great cosmetics, awful system. It’s hard to recommend with that in place.
Once you figure things out, it’s a smooth ride. Deviants helping around the house is oddly wholesome.
Locked out of a friend’s server because too many people made characters. That system really needs a rethink.
